• Complex Problem Resolution: Investigate clinical or logistical occurrences and document them in a timely manner; immediately escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor.
• Administrative Oversight: Manage essential clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and processing/packaging specimens according to specific testing requirements.
• Client Advocacy: Communicate directly with clients and patients to confirm handwritten orders, obtain accurate billing information, and secure necessary diagnostic (DX) codes.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification: The successful candidate must hold a current Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credential from the NHA, AMT, or NPS.
• Education: Completion of a nationally recognized or accredited Phlebotomy Training Program is required.
• Clinical Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in performing phlebotomy, blood draws, and injections.
• Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a clinical team, with a background in training new employees or serving as a formal mentor.
• Licensure: Must possess a current and valid driver’s license.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in medical terminology and experience with Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) is preferred.
• Professional Attributes: Demonstrated ability to establish work priorities, manage multiple procedures simultaneously, and collaborate effectively across departments.
