Work Schedule: Flexible Full-Time (28–40 Hours/Week); Varied shifts (Daylight, Evening, Overnight); Includes Weekends & Holidays
New Hire Starting Pay: As a new hire, up to $21.00 per hour, based on skills and experience

Role Purpose
Are you a healthcare administrative professional who excels at both patient advocacy and financial accuracy? We are seeking a Patient Experience & Billing Coordinator to join our team. This role is designed for a high-energy individual who can seamlessly balance top-tier "concierge-style" service with the technical demands of medical billing, insurance verification, and revenue collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Front-End Revenue Cycle: Accurately collect copayments and outstanding balances at the point of service. Educate patients on their financial obligations and provide immediate connections to financial advocacy resources.
- Insurance & Compliance: Perform real-time insurance verification and benefit confirmation. Obtain necessary legal signatures for consent to treatment and financial responsibility in strict soul-alignment with HIPAA regulations.
- Patient Navigation: Welcome patients and act as a digital ambassador, guiding them through self-arrival technology and the online patient portal.
- Care Coordination: Manage the "continuum of care" by scheduling follow-up appointments and ancillary services (lab, imaging, etc.) before the patient leaves the facility.
- Service Excellence: Proactively identify opportunities for service recovery to ensure every patient journey is seamless and supportive.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a medical office, medical billing, fiscal, or high-volume healthcare customer service role is required.
- Technical Expertise: Proven proficiency in medical terminology and experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Medipac, or similar).
- Skills: Exceptional typing speed/accuracy and the ability to navigate complex computer-based applications simultaneously.
